At Noon
At Noon is a celebration of the quiet pleasures of a summer afternoon.
Scattered across the composition are objects that evoke memories of slower days: cameras, bicycles, telephones, radios, game controllers, headphones, and toys from different eras. Together they form a collection of familiar companions, each carrying stories of leisure, discovery, and everyday happiness.
Rather than following a narrative, the design captures a mood. Time appears suspended beneath the warmth of the midday sun, where responsibilities fade into the background and simple moments take centre stage. A sleeping cat rests peacefully among the objects, reinforcing the sense of calm and unhurried contentment.
By bringing together artefacts from different generations, the composition explores nostalgia as a shared experience. Technologies may change, but the memories attached to them remain remarkably similar: summer holidays, favourite songs, childhood games, and afternoons spent lost in imagination.
At Noon is an invitation to pause, reflect, and appreciate the small objects and moments that quietly shape our lives.
